Welcome to the official website of the Woolacombe & Mortehoe Tourist Information Centre

Covid Update 15th January 2021

In line with the latest national lockdown, the Tourist Information Centre will remain closed for the time being. We are, however, operating our information service remotely, so please email us at [email protected] with any enquiries, or message us via our Facebook page. Phone calls are being diverted, but please respect standard office hours!

National lockdown: stay at home
You must stay at home. This is the single most important action we can all take to protect the NHS and save lives. You must not leave your home unless necessary.
Staying away from home overnight
You cannot leave your home or the place where you are living for holidays or overnight stays unless you have a reasonable excuse for doing so. This means that holidays in the UK and abroad are not allowed. This includes staying in a second home or caravan, if that is not your primary residence. This also includes staying with anyone who you don’t live with unless they’re in your support bubble.
Exercising and meeting other people
It is against the law to meet socially with family or friends unless they are part of your household or support bubble. You can only leave your home to exercise, and not for the purpose of recreation or leisure (e.g. a picnic or a social meeting). This should be limited to once per day, and you should not travel outside your local area (town/village).

Marine Drive Car Park, The Esplanade roadside parking bays, Putsborough and Mortehoe Car Parks are all currently open. Toilets are open opposite the Red Barn, or in Mortehoe Car Park.

We looking forward to welcoming you again as soon as it is safe to do so.
