The Fortescue is a family run Freehouse, restaurants, drinks & B&B located a short drive from the world acclaimed sandy beaches of Woolacombe Bay, North Devon, beautiful walks & scenery, golf courses, combined with numerous local activities and interests make it the ideal location to get away to.

A warm welcome day of night and is always vibrant with chat and laughter in the air. The bar offers a good choice of draught & bottle ales, lagers, ciders, wines, top shelf and a variety of soft and non-alcoholic drinks together with a selection of hot beverages:

The Fortescue is renowned for it’s homemade food, offering a carvery / roast of the day on a Sunday.  Beef, pork & turkey and nut roast vegetarian options with a very good selection fresh vegetables, with Meat ,Vegetarian or Gluten Free Gravy. In addition an a la carte menu is available, with a wide choice of dishes & a children’s menu. Spacious bars and restaurants and a beer garden at the rear of the building, catering for everyone including families. Indoor Soft Play Area. Dogs are welcome in the bar area and front garden.

B&B

Accommodation comprises, 9 bedrooms all en-suite with TV, tea & coffee making facilities, offering a number of larger rooms for families with up to four children, mom & dad. Some rooms are dog friendly. 

Breakfast is served from 8am - 9am every day and includes tea, coffee, hot chocolate, orange juice, toast and a choice of cereals. A Full English cooked breakfast is available, and vegetarian options are offered.
