At the end of March, Woolacombe & Mortehoe TIC celebrated their 20th Anniversary in their current location! And what a location it is, on The Esplanade looking right along the beautiful sandy beach towards Putsborough. The building is shared with Mortehoe Parish Council was opened in March 1999 and was purpose built as council offices and a Tourist Information Centre. (Before then the TIC had been in the Red Barn Car Park and the Village Hall!) The TIC has seen some changes in terms of staff, layout and funding over the years, but we are proud to still be here and be completely self-funded, when many TICs have been forced to close. We love to share beautiful Woolacombe & Mortehoe with our visitors, and aim to help all that come here have a lovely time! Do pop in and see us if you are passing, or check out our website at www.woolacombetourism.co.uk for holiday inspiration!
