This winter at The Milky Way you’ll find lots of all-weather fun, plus magical festive activities over the Xmas period. During December children will love preparing for the big day in Buzzlewick’s Elf Emporium by decorating gingerbread straight from Mother Christmas’ kitchen, preparing a special letter and making all-natural reindeer food ready for Christmas Eve. In addition, parents have the option (for a small additional fee – please book ahead on the Milky Way website for this) to take their children to meet the REAL Father Christmas in his enchanting Grotto, where they’ll receive an exciting gift!
From November 1-March 27 The Milky Way is open most weekends, and most weekdays during school holidays, though the park’s standalone Little Stars play centre
(designed for those aged 0-6) is open most weekdays AND weekends, even in winter.
All the rides, shows and play areas are included in the entrance fee at The Milky Way with no hidden extras, and it’s fun for parents as well as kids. With over 110,000 sq feet of indoor fun & acres of outdoor activities, this is a truly out of this world experience.
New for 2019 is the park’s newest addition – Ziggy’s Blast Quest. Join Ziggy and help save planet Earth by piloting a Cyber Scooter and using your Blasteroid laser to destroy rogue asteroids and meteors before they destroy the planet.
Take a ride on the Cosmic Typhoon roller coaster and enjoy the panoramic views, but prepare to scream as you face the hair-raising drop! Then enjoy the hair-raising drop of the Cosmic Typhoon roller coaster, and take on the huge death slides in the Time Warp – the area’s biggest indoor play area, with assault courses and slides built for adults as well as children.
There’s plenty for smaller adventurers too, including the innovative Little Stars play centre, which is designed specially for babies and pre-schoolers. It has a multi-level soft play area, sensory room for babies, dressing up area, role-play pizzeria – and even a pretend car wash.
