The Milky Way Adventure Park

This fantastic whole day out near Woolacombe is perfect for all ages, in all weathers. It has been named Devon’s Large Attraction of the Year by Visit Devon, and was the only attraction in Devon to win a prestigious and rare TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Award in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019.

The Milky Way is open every weekend even in winter, and every weekday too from Easter onwards.

Ever wondered where the Easter Bunny’s magic is made? Get ready for a memorable and unique Easter experience. From Wednesday 1st April to Monday 13th April you’ll be invited to journey down the rabbit hole to the NEW expanded Easter Bunny HQ to meet the friendly Eggsperts who control the production of the entire world’s chocolate eggs. Here, you’ll enter into the crazy Eggsperts’ world where you’ll help solve puzzles, make music and have lots of fun checking out the clever egg-production process. Next, you’ll be invited into the Easter Bunny’s front room, where all those aged 1-12 will meet the Bunny and receive a FREE chocolate egg.

All outdoor rides and play areas remain open even in the colder months, plus there’s 110,000 sq ft of heated indoor fun under one roof – more than any other attraction in the South West! All the rides, shows and play areas are included in the entrance fee at The Milky Way with no hidden extras, and it’s fun for parents as well as kids.

The park’s newest addition is an interactive coaster, Ziggy’s Blast Quest. Join Ziggy and help save planet Earth by piloting a Cyber Scooter and using your Blasteroid laser to destroy rogue asteroids and meteors before they destroy the planet.

Take a ride on the Cosmic Typhoon roller coaster and enjoy the panoramic views, but prepare to scream as you face the hair-raising drop! Then enjoy the hair-raising drop of the Cosmic Typhoon roller coaster, and take on the huge death slides in the Time Warp – the area’s biggest indoor play area, with assault courses and slides built for adults as well as children.

There’s plenty for smaller adventurers too, including the innovative Little Stars play centre, which is designed specially for babies and pre-schoolers. It has a multi-level soft play area, sensory room for babies, dressing up area, role-play pizzeria – and even a pretend car wash. They’ll also love the Milky Way railway, and Cosmic Caterpillar mini roller coaster.

One of of the most popular attractions is the Droid Destroyer dodgems which guarantee a bumping good time for everyone, including little ones with special gentle rides for smaller visitors.

The Milky Way is also home to Jumping Jupiters, one of the UK’s largest bouncing pillows plus as a smaller pillow just for children under five and accompanying adults. Other popular attractions include an amazing display of Sci-Fi memorabilia (“From Daleks to Darth Vader!”), and the Bouncing Balloon Room – a huge hit with younger children.

To wind down, visitors can sit back and enjoy the live shows, which include Merlin from Britain’s Got Talent with his fun-packed skills and thrills show, and breath-taking displays from the North Devon Bird of Prey Centre . The park also has a 1,000 seat indoor arena, so the show goes on whatever the weather!* Alongside this, there’s plenty to try your hand at including golf, archery and laser shooting for all the family.
