A fond farewell to Barricane Beach Café! The café was lifted from Barricane this afternoon — always an impressive sight and a real moment in the Woolacombe calendar. As ever, there’s that little tinge of sadness that Summer has slipped away.
But what a day for it. The sky was a vibrant blue, the coastal breeze certainly made itself known, yet it’s still warm enough to enjoy a beautiful visit to Woolacombe & Mortehoe. There’s plenty to see, do and savour across the villages.
Most of our brilliant local businesses are still open (with the exception of Barricane Café now!) — so it’s a great time to explore.
