The site enjoys direct access to the spectacular South West Coast Path and is just a short distance from the famous Tarka Trail link for safe, off-road, cycling. It is also a mere stone’s throw from the award winning, golden sandy expanse of surf beach at Woolacombe, recently designated UK’s only World Surfing Reserve. The North Devon surf is notoriously good, with plenty of great local Instructors to help you perfect your skills! Not a surfer? The lesser known, more sheltered, coves of Lee, Barricane and Combesgate are great for rock pooling or a sublime morning dip if that’s more your thing. Warcombe’s excellent position makes them a firm favourite with walkers, cyclists, sea swimmers and surfers alike.
The Park has been lovingly landscaped by a team of longstanding, experienced Groundsmen. No clinical pitches, just an abundance of wild flowers, perfect sunsets and fabulous views! Generously sized plots are standard so you can spread yourselves out and they offer a varied range to suit all tastes, size and type of camping unit. Fully enclosed plots are new for 2026, really useful for campers with dogs or small children. Pitches with private gated access on either grass or hardstanding are also available for the fishermen and women amongst you. The guys at Warcombe pride themselves on their modern, luxury service blocks, all with underfloor heating for your ultimate camping comfort. These are cleaned to an exceptionally high standard, particularly at peak times.
There are fully accessible bathrooms, laundry facilities, microwave ovens, dish washing areas and a wetsuit wash as well as an on-site shop for groceries, basic camping supplies, pet products and handmade cards and gifts. Freshly baked pastries are to order daily. A wonderful selection of nightly food vans attend in peak season. There is a bus stop right outside the site entrance should you wish to leave the car behind and explore further afield.
