Braunton Young Farmers Club will be hosting their now infamous 'Calving Bingo' fundraising event, starting on Friday 20th February!
How does it work?
There are 90 cows due to calve on a local farm ... each cow has been allocated a random number between 1-90 ... every day at 7pm on the dot, you will receive a What's App message detailing the cows that have calved that day ... simply mark them off on your bingo cards!
Prizes
There are prizes for the first person to declare a line, two lines and a full house ... the top prize is a Sunday Roast for 4, including dessert and a bottle of wine, kindly donated by The Crown Inn at West Down.
Chairman of Braunton YFC, Sam Zeale, says to expect the usual chaos in the What's App group each evening ... questionable humour, silly messages, hidden bonus games, ridiculous puns, a few educational titbits, some brand new surprises, and of course, bucket loads of unbearably, cute calves' !

Tickets are available from The Crown at West Down, Sam Zeale 07503 533904, Bethany Ansdell 07760 292209, Woolacombe Tourist Information Centre (open Saturdays only 10-3 until 14th Feb, then open for half term, Monday-Saturday 10am-3pm). Tickets can also be posted, just call Sam! £5 per ticket, or 6 for £25.
