Warcombe Farm Camping Park Mortehoe Woolacombe North Devon

Nestled along the rugged coastline of North Devon, tucked between the charming village of Mortehoe and Devon’s best kept secret, Lee Bay, you’ll find Warcombe Farm Camping Park. This popular campsite is located in an officially declared ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ and offers a perfect retreat for nature lovers and adventurers alike. It enjoys direct access to the South West Coast Path where you will witness some of the most spectacularly scenic walks in the UK.

Sit back and take in the stunning sea views and incredible golden sunsets from your pitch or maybe you’ll choose a more tucked away, peaceful, leafy spot where you can relax and unwind.  There are 14 acres of woodland walk, just great for off lead dog walks or letting the kids blow off steam. Fly a kite, play a game of rounders, kick a ball around, there’s heaps of space! Children and adults will love the interesting and informative nature trail around the site, leaflets available from Reception. Watch out for the elusive deer hiding in the trees!  Warcombe fishing lake is for the exclusive use of their guests, rod hire and plots with private gated access to the lake available, all for your convenience. Hours of tranquil entertainment to enhance your holiday.

A children's play area with pitches adjacent for those with young children has a much-loved zip wire for oodles of fun! Warcombe is extremely dog friendly too, your four-legged friends are an important part of the family after all! As already mentioned, there is an extensive off lead walk and also a luxury doggie wet room/shower to ensure there are no muddy paws in your tent or caravan! Welcome Packs for Woofer are supplied on arrival!

Nearby Woolacombe has a huge expanse of dog friendly golden sandy beach or maybe try the pretty cove of Barricane with its Sri Lankan Beach Shack, the most idyllic spot for a sublime morning dip! Dogs are allowed but must be on a lead. Combesgate has a ‘no dog’ policy, but wonderful for rock pooling. Do try the National Trust Night Time Rockpool Rambles which are fun and fascinating!

The excellent on-site facilities at Warcombe consist of large family wet-rooms, family bathroom with a bathtub for soaking sandy babies or tired feet after a day on the coast path, dedicated disabled shower rooms, launderette, microwaves, wetsuit wash and tourist information, all with underfloor heating for your ultimate camping comfort. A lovely herb garden will delight the more adventurous camping cook!

A friendly and helpful team are on hand night and day to assist should you have any issues. Do not hesitate to ask if you would like recommendations for walks, restaurants etc. These guys have been with Warcombe for years, they have a wealth of local knowledge and love to share it! Pastries and Cream Teas are freshly baked to order daily and in peak season, they have a variety of nightly food vans. Their site shop is well stocked with an amazing choice of local produce, basic camping and pet supplies and handcrafted gifts.  Prices are always reasonable to encourage guests to shop local.
