The Devon surf is notorious for being at its absolute best at this time of year due to the westerly Atlantic swells and the sea is still warm from the Summer sun! Take advantage of the quieter waters to improve your surfing skills! Not a surfer? The lesser known, more sheltered, coves of Lee, Barricane and Combesgate are great for rock pooling or a sublime sunset or morning dip if that’s more your thing.
