Pipcott Fields Caravan & Camping

Welcome to Pipcott Fields our family run campsite, which is open all year round and situated in the heart of West Down village in North Devon.

Our site will provide you with the ideal setting to relax and enjoy your stay amongst the beautiful North Devon countryside. Just a stones throw from our site entrance is our pet friendly pub “The Crown Inn” where you can enjoy a fabulous selection of lagers and ciders on draught. You can also enjoy the best of home cooked classic meals. The village shop provides a range of essential goods including fresh local produce like meat, bread, cakes, pies and pasties and not forgetting Devon clotted cream!!!

Just a short walk from our site is the community field, where children can play on the swings and climbing frame. There is also football goals with nets fitted all year round.

There are plenty of local walks from the village from which you can enjoy the idyllic surroundings.

The campsite sits within 5.5 acres across three fields. The main lower field with all the services and pitches is 2.5 acres. All hook-up points are 16 amp and we allow fire pits and BBQ’s. There is plenty of space to walk and exercise dogs and play games with children. We welcome all caravans, motorhomes, campers, tents and car Tentbox.

Each Fully Serviced hardstand pitch is 12 metres in total length by 10 metres deep. The pitch consists of 6 metres by 10 metres of hardcore adjacent to 6 metres by 10 metres of grass. Each hardstand pitch has 2 mains fed drinking water taps, 2 electrical hook- ups, grey waste drainage and a low-level light. Each hardstand pitch is also provided with a picnic bench, general waste bin and access to free site Wi-Fi.

Each grass pitch is 8 metres in total length by 10 metres deep. All grass pitches are provided with a picnic bench, general waste bin, access to free site Wi-Fi and a mains fed drinking water tap close by. All pitches have access to EHU.

We have immaculate toilets and hot shower facilities, all with enclosed cubicles for privacy and a separate disabled toilet/shower room if needed. We also have washing up facilities for your convenience and a chemical waste disposal point within our recycling area.

We are only 5-10 minutes away from some of the best beaches in North Devon, Woolacombe Bay, Saunton Sands and Croyde bay all of which are included in the world surfing reserve. You can also enjoy many spectacular coastal walks with breathtaking views.

Our site isn’t far from the Tarka trail which is ideal for cycling, this is a combination of footpaths and bridleways with a large section being an old converted railway. If you want to enjoy the coastline from a different perspective, you can take part in various water sports or enjoy idyllic boat trips from the historical seaside town of Ilfracombe.
