This year’s event will run on Sunday 4th & Monday 5th August, from 10am-4.30pm, and the theme is … drum roll please … THE OLYMPICS!
As it is an Olympic year, and indeed the Olympics will be part way through in Paris at the time of the Festival, we felt that this was very apt for 2024.
Collect your trail sheet from the Play Area outside Mortehoe Museum (the cost is £5 per sheet). Wander round Mortehoe Village to find over 30 Scarecrows, all with an Olympic theme. Don't forget to return your sheet to the Play Area once you are done ... all correct entries will be entered in to a Prize Draw! Whilst you are there, remember to vote for your favourite Scarecrow (everyone gets a vote, not just the kids!)
Note, there is ample car parking in the overflow car park at the back of the main village car park.
We look forward to seeing some fantastic creations by our local businesses, organisations and residents ... the standard is always so high! We thank everyone who gets involved in making a scarecrow or who helps out in any way ... without these volunteers we couldn't continue to run the event.
