With Provenance, from the chef

“We love to find new suppliers, whether they’re Devon families who’ve been growing, rearing or selling produce for generations or new, artisan makers of craft food and drink products – of which there are many in the county.

We’re pleased to offer quality West Country meats from our Muddiford butcher, and Exmoor beef from Chris Lerwill’s Exmoor farm. Choice game is delivered daily from MC Kelly, well known for their regional cuts. Our greengrocers offer locally picked crops, many from the Great Field in Braunton, as well as access to the local market in nearby Bristol.

Naturally, fish and seafood are key ingredients in our larder. You are guaranteed to enjoy some of the best fresh fish from day boats landed in our own harbour.  Add to that, mussels that are picked at low tide in Westward Ho! then cleaned in Instow. All in all a great selection of local and seasonal ingredients, that are truly sustainable.”
