Dog Restrictions Lifted on Woolacombe Beach

1 October 2024
Dog walking on Woolacombe beach

Dog Restrictions on Woolacombe Beach have been lifted from today, meaning your pooch can now run on any section of the 3 mile beach!

Restrictions will be reinstated on 1st April 2025, however, there is always plenty of space to walk you dog whatever the time of year. From 1st April (or Good Friday, whichever comes first) to 30th September, the beach is divided in to 3 sections - the north end from The Esplanade car park to the stream is dog free, from the stream to Mill Rock, dogs need to be on leads, then after Mill Rock, they have free run. Please continue to be responsible, and clear up after you dog ... thank you!
