Earlier this year the North Devon National Trust opened a new car park at Woolacombe Down. The car park is located just at the top of Challacombe Hill (go up Challacombe Hill and turn right, the car park is on the immediate right) and is free to Blue Badge Holders and National Trust members. For non-members, the cost is £1.10 for 1 hour, £2.20 for 2 hours, or £4.40 for the day.
No overnight parking is permitted.
The car park is perfect for exploring Woolacombe Down, Potters Hill, and even Baggy Point if you are looking for a longer walk - the views are incredible!
Join the National Trust at Woolacombe Tourist Information Centre to get free parking in the new car park, as well as at many other locations including Baggy Point at Croyde, Heddon Valley, and Lorna Doone valley. Prices start from £7.60 per month.
