Covid Update 12 April 2021
We are delighted to be able to re-open the Tourist Information Centre on 12th April! We will be open every day from 10am – 4pm throughout the season.
We look forward to welcoming you!
We have compiled a list of Food & Drink establishments, and Activities and Attractions that are operating from 12th April – please email us for copies. We recommend requesting the information a few days ahead of your visit, as we are regularly updating the listings as and when we hear of any changes in opening details. [email protected]
Please adhere to Coronavirus rules, as follows:
12th April -16th May Inclusive:
Rule of 6 or 2 households can meet outdoors.
No household mixing indoors.
Self-contained accommodation may open (single households only) as long as there are no shared facilities.
Domestic overnight stays permitted (single households only)
Indoor Leisure (for individual/single household use).
Date subject to change
No earlier than 17th May:
Remaining Accommodation open.
Domestic overnight stays.
Rule of 6 or 2 households can meet indoors.
Remaining outdoor entertainment.
Indoor entertainment and attractions open.
Some large events can go ahead (subject to capacity limits)

WOOLACOMBE BEACH IS AN AWARD WINNING BEACH!

Voted as the fourth Best Beach in the UK on Tripadvisor for 2019, and previously the Best Beach twice in recent years! Woolacombe also holds the ‘England for Excellence Gold Award’ for best family resort and was voted the Best British Beach in the Mail On Sunday. Woolacombe Beach lies between Morte Point and Baggy Point. This three-mile long stretch of golden sand is renowned for it’s cleanliness, water quality and facilities. Life guards ensure safe family swimming during the summer and surfers come from all over the country to enjoy the great waves and clean water.
Woolacombe itself is a lively village with great pubs, restaurants and places to stay. Visitors of all ages will find plenty to do away from the beach. There’s a friendly, laid-back atmosphere here which visitors are sure to enjoy. Visit us and you’ll see why people come back summer after summer.
